ACT! 2007
Handheld Solutions

Get instant access to any contact detail -- from anywhere. Solutions are available for Palm, Blackberry, and Windows Mobile users.

Palm OS

ACT! for Palm: This product is available for ACT! 6.0, ACT! 2006 and ACT! 2007. (It is not available for ACT! 2005 users.) ACT! for Palm performs a two-way synchronization between your Palm or Treo and your ACT! database. There is a separate nominal charge for ACT! for Palm.

Free Links: The free links with the Palm are included on your ACT! installation CD. Though the links will perform a two-way synchronization, we do not recommend that you synchronize two-way with the free links. The integrity of your data may become compromised.

Third Party Links: CompanionLink (www.companionlink.com) offers extended functionality for handheld users. If you are linking ACT! with a Palm device, we recommend this option.

BlackBerry

Free Links: The built-in link between ACT! and BlackBerry only works with 6.0. The 6.0 integration isn't great and is not recommended. No free solution is available for ACT! 2005, 2006, or 2007 users.

Third Party Links: CompanionLink (www.companionlink.com) offers a cradle sync between ACT! and most BlackBerry models. The synchronization works well, and this is the recommended option for most Blackberry users.

Handheld Contact: HandheldContact (www.handheldcontact.com) offers wireless synchronization between ACT! and some BlackBerry models. This is the recommended solution for anyone who is looking for mobile access to the ACT! data.

Pocket PC/Windows Mobile

Free Links: A free link is included with ACT! 6.0, 2005, 2006, and 2007.

There is no recommended link between ACT! and Windows Mobile devices for two-way synchronization. We recommend that users with these devices only synchronize from ACT! down to the handheld and not the other way.

Third Party Links: CompanionLink (www.companionlink.com) offers extended functionality for PocketPC handheld users. If you are linking ACT! with a Pocket PC device, we recommend this option.

ACT! 2007 is the fastest, most stable version of ACT! ever released. Add some nice new features, and you have a really great product.
