
Before exporting the Opportunity List to Excel,
it's probably a good idea to perform a lookup of
the specific contacts you'd like to see.
Alternatively, you could filter the Opportunity
List to show just a specific set of
opportunities.
In addition to the steps outlined in this tip,
you can also click the Export to Excel button on
the toolbar to export the Opportunity List to
Microsoft Excel. If you don't have this option,
your administrator might have turned it off.
In Tools | Manage Users, you can select the
users who should have the ability to export data
to Excel.
To export
opportunity data to Excel:
- In the Opportunity List view, set the
filter to show just the opportunities you'd
like to export to Excel.
- Customize the columns in the Opportunity
list to display the fields you'd like to
export to Excel. (To do this, click the
Options button in the upper right corner of
the Opportunity List view and choose the
Customize Columns option.)
- Click Tools | Export to Excel.
- The Opportunities List will appear in a
Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.
